So I thought I would try my hand again at submitting a video to a competition after winning a little bit of cash from the MegaPath video. I created this video for the Zappos “Art of Gifting” competition.
We tracked down an origami artist from Bellingham who created some original designs for us for the origami stop motion. And Vanessa Eng was kind enough to be my onscreen talent yet again.
I had a lot of fun working on the project, learning more about origami, and getting a chance to incorporate stop motion with live footage.
But, once again, I have lost out to white guys rapping. My video didn’t even place in the top 8. Sigh.
