$35.00

The art of the pitch is crucial to getting your scripts read.  But most workshops on pitching only address pitching in competitions.  And while the competition pitch is a valuable skill, how you pitch your projects in conversation – whether you’re at networking events or in general meetings – that’s where you are really going to sell your work.

Description

The art of the pitch is crucial to getting your scripts read.  But most workshops on pitching only address pitching in competitions.  And while the competition pitch is a valuable skill, how you pitch your projects in conversation – whether you’re at networking events or in general meetings – that’s where you are really going to sell your work.

Goldie’s pitching strategy, that taps into her 20+ year background in marketing, has been proven over and over again in pitch fests, competitions, and in general meetings with industry execs.  Goldie’s pitches have successfully taken first and second place in multiple pitch competitions.  And in dozens of general meetings with execs from major studios, Goldie’s pitch strategy has led to those execs requesting to read anywhere from 2 to 5 of her scripts out of a single meeting.

This hour long online workshop will walk you through Goldie’s pitching strategy, the neuroscience behind making your pitches memorable, and the differences in building a pitch for competition and crafting your conversational pitches that you can pull out whenever the opportunity arises to let your storytelling brilliance shine.

Wednesday October 16th at 7pm.

Zoom link will be provided to everyone registered 24 hours before the workshop.
